Our premium hemp bast fiber is carefully extracted from the hurd without damaging the fiber strands, preserving lengths between 6” to 30” to maintain high tensile strength essential for structural applications. This intact structure ensures superior durability and load-bearing capacity—over three times stronger than straw. Naturally antibacterial and highly absorbent, hemp bast fiber retains 30% more moisture than straw. The fiber is compressed and baled into 14” x 18” x 36” units, with each 5.25-cubic foot bale expanding to 9 cubic feet when loosened, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial and agricultural uses.
